Our Story

Crate Classics is the London-based production duo and independent label founded by Aaron Horn and Jamie Rodigan.

Rooted in soundsystem culture but never confined by genre, their music moves between jungle, dancehall, reggae, Afrobeat, hip-hop, bass and leftfield pop — connecting classic influences with forward-facing production.

Between them, Aaron and Jamie bring decades of songwriting, DJ culture and studio experience. Their wider credits include Aaron’s Grammy-nominated work on Doja Cat’s global hit “Woman”, alongside a catalogue of collaborations, original releases and reworks featuring artists including Capleton.

Crate Classics is built around heavy drums, deep bass, memorable vocals and positive energy — music made for sound systems, headphones, festivals and late-night dancefloors.
